Blood Pressure

Blood Pressures are provided on Monday and Thursday, 8:00 - 12:00, 12:30 - 4:30 on a walk-in basis. There is no charge for this service, and no appointment is necessary for these times.

Physician Ordered Injections

The health department will give certain injections (B12, hormone, etc.) for clients according to physicians order on regular office days, Monday & Thursday, 8:00 - 12:00, and 12:30 - 4:30.

Nail Care

Trimming of toenails with doctor's order and by appointment. This service is for those Perry County residents that have some condition that makes it difficult to self manage this activity.

Ensure Program

The Perry County Health Department makes available a limited supply of Ensure or Ensure plus to Perry County residents who have had a medical diagnosis that may endanger the client's health and nutritional status. A doctor's order or a nutritional assessment by the health department's nutritionist and/or nurse is needed. Individuals must live in a private residence or in a residential care facility.
