The Perry County Health Department currently provides school-age children's health services to five schools in Perry County. The focus of this program is to maintain a coordinated school health system targeting positive outcomes for school-age children within each contracted school, their families, the school staff and the community, as well as maintain or improve the nurse to student ratio.

The program provides services such as: on-site nursing services, educational programs, screening and referral services, staff training and wellness activities.

The five schools that currently participate include:
