The Speech Therapy Program provides speech therapy to preschool children with speech and language disorders. Early identification and treatment of speech and language problems in preschool children can reduce the incidence of those children entering schools who need therapy.Children three years of age and not yet in first grade, needing speech and language evaluation and/or therapy, are eligible for services. Therapy is provided once a week for 30 minute sessions. There is no charge for this service. Services are provided on a limited bases and there is typically a waiting list. Children must be Perry County residents to qualify for services.
